 ULSTER COMPUTING support packages are targeted towards organizations that require some outsourcing support, either to supplement time and skill of in-house personnel or to provide a fully out-sourced solution.

The following is a list of support packages designed to meet your technical needs, without draining your bank account! They are intended to allow you to customize the level and quantity of support you feel is necessary for your particular needs.

 

Some offer savings up to 50% off the normal hourly rates!

  Packages are billed on a monthyl billing cycle.

 


 These packages are ideal for companies with an established technology base that would like periodic check-ups and support. These check-ups can include backup tests and fine tuning, software patches available from some manufactures, and /or desktop and server periodic optimizations.


Standard Rate:

This is the conventional Pay-as-You-Go support service. An hourly rate is $85-$125 per hour with a one hour minimum. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments. Our on-site fee is $50.00. Payment plan is due prior to month service contract begins.  

 


                         

 3 HOUR PACKAGE $150.00 a month– COVERS 1-2 COMPUTERS

(Standard pricing for 3 hours is approx $295.00) You save $145.00

All tasks will be previously agreed upon and performed monthly. For 1-2 computers, the client will receive a maximum of 3 hours support per month. Each hour after 3 hours will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

 

 5 HOUR PACKAGE    $250.00 a month–COVERS 1-5 COMPUTERS

(Standard pricing for 5 hours is approx $465.00) You save $215.00

All tasks will be previously agreed upon and performed monthly. For 1-5 computers, the client will receive a maximum of 5 hours support per month. Each hour after 5 hours will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

 

 7 HOUR PACKAGE   $350.00 a month– COVERS 1-10 COMPUTERS

(Standard pricing for 7 hours is approx $635.00) You save $285.00

All tasks will be previously agreed upon and performed monthly. For 1-10 computers, the client will receive a maximum of 7 hours support per month. Each hour after 7 hours will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

 

 10 HOUR PACKAGE   $650.00 a month– COVERS 1-20 COMPUTERS

(Standard pricing for 10 hours is approx. $890.00) You save $240.00

All tasks will be previously agreed upon and performed monthly. For 1-20 computers, the client will receive a maximum of 10 hours support per month. Each hour after 10 hours will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

 

 12 HOUR PACKAGE   $850.00 a month– COVERS 1-30 COMPUTERS

(Standard pricing for 12 hours is approx. $1060) You save $210.00

All tasks will be previously agreed upon and performed monthly. For 1-30 computers, the client will receive a maximum of 12 hours support per month. Each hour after 12 hours will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

Quarterly Planning Session - (If Required) ULSTER COMPUTING and client will meet on a quarterly basis to determine schedule and project work for the coming quarter/year. First hour of this quarterly meeting will not be charged.

Hardware Items Under Manufactures Warranty -3rd party costs included requiring on-site visits by supplier representatives

 

Access to Partners – Client will have access to ULSTER COMPUTING specialty contractors and vendors for project work.

Hardware Items Outside Manufactures Warranty -ULSTER COMPUTING will charge for any spare parts required. If a repair requires the supplier or 3rd party to affect a repair this cost will apply

Annual IT Audit- (If Required) - ULSTER COMPUTING will provide Client with an annual IT Audit assessment and report.

Loan Equipment - in not specifically covered in this agreement, Loan equipment may be offered on a rental basis.

Dedicated Project Manger – Client will be assigned one main contact person at ULSTER COMPUTING.

 

Desktop/Laptop Support- Includes all software updates and upgrades. However any purchase cost (hardware or software) associated with procuring upgrades will be charged. Where upgrades/patches are obtained via the internet, time will be logged via the support arrangement.

Note: 3rd Party Software- “Customized” application software is not supported under this agreement.

Server Support- Includes all software updates and upgrades, administration, users/group accounts. However any purchase cost (hardware or software) associated with procuring upgrades will be charged. Where upgrades/patches are obtained via the internet, time will be logged via the support arrangement.

Printers- Printers which require services must serviced by authorized repair centers. ULSTER COMPUTING will forward printers to authorized repair center upon request ,any cost related to theses repairs will be charged to the printer owner, normal ULSTER COMPUTING charges may apply to the diagnosis and transport of any printers

Network Support- All labor will be logged in accordance with this agreement. Essentially this labor relates to the up-keep of computers and network devices running on the same LAN or WAN network.

Note: 3rd Party Support- ULSTER COMPUTING reserves the right to use 3rd party consultants of technical staff

Email Support -All labor will be logged in accordance with this agreement.

 

Phone Support- All labor will be logged in accordance with this agreement. COVERED BY PLAN

 

Data Backup and Restore- All labor will be logged in accordance with this agreement. Data backup or restore is covered with in your company only. Media if not provided will cost extra.

Note: Data Backup and Restore - We offer off site data backup storage. Remote back-ups are also available. (VPN router and other costs will apply)

Sales of New Technology – We will recommend new technology for all your sites needs. We can process any sales needs you may have.

Insurance Claims- Quotation basis only.

New (Minor) Installations – All labor will be logged in accordance with this agreement. All hardware/software maximum of 1-2 pieces per visit installations will need to be scheduled.

New (Major) Installations – All hardware/software pieces 3 and up. Installations will need to be scheduled and would be invoiced on agreed basis.

Over Package:

For each hour after the maximum support plan will be charged the standard rate. In between hours will be charged by 30 minute increments.

 

After Hours and Emergency Support (Not included in any agreements)

 

Our normal business hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

After Hours and Emergency Support is available for an hourly rate only and charged at a premium rate.

 

AFTER HOUR / EMERGENCY SUPPORT

$100.00 per hour, 1 hour minimum.  In between hours are charged by 30 minute increments.

 

New Technology/Rollout Packages or Large Installations:

These packages are more complex and are designed to fit a particular task. Examples of a New Technology Packages include system wide installations of new printers, deployment of new accounting software across several desktops, or networking a building or office. The particulars of this type of package will be agreed upon before any work is begun. At our discretion, a preliminary analysis may be provided free of charge.
